The pre-purchase training involves the assessment of homeowner readiness, the buying process and money management. The pre-purchase class is required for every first-time homeowner who participates in the NHS programs and is also required by some community lending programs offered by traditional lender partners.
The class is a nine hour course and it is offered once a month as a three consecutive evening class from 6:00- 9:00 PM and as an all-day class on Saturdays from 8:00-5:00 PM. Our schedule aims to accommodate the working schedule of our clients. In addition to flexible schedules, we also offer meals in every class to make the life of our families a little less stressful.
The goal of the pre-purchase class is to make the first time buyer feel comfortable with every step of the home buying process. The curriculum for the pre-purchase class session is reflected in the agenda below.
